Re: CX Crossbolts
I have always had a hard time getting blazers to stay on arrows. If you use a wrap it will fix the problem

good sale
Let me start by saying I have no affiliation with this company, they just make great stuff. Idigear makes great cold weather gear. I bought a set a few years ago because I have a metal plate in my back and when it gets cold I have a hard time getting around. I wasn't able to hunt all winter. Since t...

Count me in!
I've made jerky in the oven. It comes out pretty good. Just make sure you put your oven on the lowest setting and I always use a stick to keep the oven door open a little.

A 829 Lb black bear was taken during the 5 day season. It was shot about a quarter mile from my house. I've seen this bear many times. It use to lay on my front lawn and eat acorns. Its a monster!

Re: Ticks..... GRRRRRR
I had Lyme Disease for about 4 years before I found out. Never saw the tick. Never got a bullseye. It was the worst thing I ever went through. They make a base layer that will protect you as well. I can't remember what its called. I will try to find out.

Re: N.J. black bears
There are some monsters walking around in NJ. I had one that was over 600 Lbs on my front lawn twice a week all fall. He would lay on my lawn and eat the acorns about 10 yards from my front door. I just wish NJ would let you hunt them wit a bow or xbow. Right now its only shotgun.

Re: string makers
I would like to learn how to make my own strings. I looked it up on youtube and they make it look easy. I'm sure there must be a lot of trial and error.

two for two
I just got a vortex about a month ago. Sighted it in. Practiced for a week and then hit the woods. First time out, first shot I got a doe at 40 yards. Second time out I got a 7 pointer at 35 yards. Needless to say I love my new vortex.
