Re: grizzly and R.E.D.S
Thanks 8ptbuk, I agree on anything added to the string. I shot Compound 3-D comp for several years and found that out at a early age. Now at 60 years old and knowing the ability of good string leach being able to reduce noise, I installed those yesterday and found a good effect some say they don't s...

Re: Opinions on the Matrix Grizzly.
I must say first that, I have not made a shot on anything other than a target with mine as of yet. I have no doubt as to the ability of my Grizzly as my Axiom SMF performs to perfection on whitetail, coyotes, fox etc. If I wasn't such a soft heart person and wanted to help out my hunting buddy, this...

Re: grizzly and R.E.D.S
I put the REDS on my Grizzly yesterday and I could tell a real reduction in noise. I did also add the string leach for crossbows too. I saw no reduction at in speed but it did reduce noise enough to notice an immediate difference. I really don't get the idea of REDS reducing arrow speed? It doesn't ...

Re: First Pass At Bolt Building
Nice group! I use to build all my own arrows when I shot compound and made the dumb mistake of selling everything when I got my shoulder hurt. I use to enjoy the whole deal of building my own, the only item I kept was my scales and they may come in handy now.

Re: New Excalibur Deadzone scope
Do you think that the Dead Zone that just came with the new Matrix Grizzly is of the same quality as the 2014 ones? I wish they had more information on them, it's not easy to find much on this product.

Re: deadzone scope instruction manual error
So glad to find this post and know that wasn't something wrong with the one I received. My problem with the Dead Zone scope is a maybe all on my own account but I might be adjusting something wrong. From the time I mounted it on the new Grizzly and standing at 10 yards it shot the arrow into the dir...

So I having the desire for the Matrix Grizzly let him have it to hunt with and I now own a Matrix Grizzly. WHY? Because Excalibur is s...

Re: OT: Whackin' & Stackin' in Northern Virginia
Congrats Duckhunt, I have not hunted WV in many years. One of friends has a big piece of property in WV that he still hunts during the Nov gun season. The last few years the doe population has really grew on his area too. I just wish that we had 1/2 of that in our area of KY. It's not fun when you c...

Re: First nite sit
I haven not made it out yet, we had some cool temps over the weekend but I just couldn't make the time as of yet. Our leafs are starting to turn and I've heard that acorns are not going to readily available, so that will make our season difficult. At least you can be getting a list of what's there to...

Welcome over to the Excalibur side of life Big Bad John, I joined it last year myself for similar reasons. It is a great product and you will enjoy it after you get that S5 and make that 1st kill with your Ibex.
