Re: ACB Custom Stock Raffle (feasible for Boofest?)
I think $20us works as a good price point and is a fairly typical on many raffles around my area. It is a nice even denomination that most folks carry and use on a regular basis, on both sides of the border. People tend to carry bigger denominations less frequently and as they are "special"...

Re: ACB Custom Stock Raffle (feasible for Boofest?)
Actually the way things are going by the time Boofest comes around, it might be closer to a 2 for 1 sale :D Oh for the days we did not have to worry about the the exchange rate. If we used paypal for the bulk of the tix, fixed the tix price at $20us (sorry to my cnd brethren, I know I have been down...

Re: ACB Custom Stock Raffle (feasible for Boofest?)
one question I have is how do you handle out of country cheques? I know the last time I deposited a Canadian bank cheque at my bank they charged me a $25 service fee. I know that varies between banks but those bank fees can add up in a hurry. I hate to complicate things but we might need some help o...

Re: Equalizer Crossbow - Powered By Eccalibur.
Definitely a real Excalibur. It is done up in Cabelas exclusive "Woodlands Zones" camo. I also notice that it does not have the R.E.D.D stoppers included and the rail looks to be black but not synthetic. I am not sure why they went that way as it does not match the riser. It does look inte...

Re: The Wife's favorite part of stockmaking
Beautiful as always Mike. What type of wood went into this one?
I have to ask, what is the tip on the butt end and black accent on the cheek piece? I don't think I have seen anything quite like that before.

Re: Cockin Rope wear Matrix n Micro's
Not sure about a raffle, it sounds more like a 50-50 drawing to me with half the proceeds go towards the victor's long term medical care

Re: MO Crossbow Hunting Support
Yes the price for an out of state tag varies considerably, but $225 seemed a bit high to me as well.

Re: MO Crossbow Hunting Support
I may have misunderstood but I thought they were just reducing the number of antlered deer (bucks) that you could take. That would still us to take 2 but only allow one antlered and one antlerless. I have also been rounding up any friends and family that I can talk into leaving comments with the MDC...
