Re: MO Crossbow Hunting Support
I sure hope it is a "done deal". As it is I will continue to push as hard as I can for the full xbow inclusion until I hear the final whistle. Then we may just have to have a good ol southern celebration. I think it will be a huge positive leap forward for hunting in MO. I hate being thoug...

MO Crossbow Hunting Support
Missouri is finally looking at including Crossbows in the archery season as a legal option for everyone. Right now they are looking for public comments on this and a couple other proposals both through "townhall" meetings and online comments. If you are interested in showing your support f...

Re: bowjax
My set up cut a few dB off the shot and a fair amount if'with no affect on the bow speed. Bowjax on the "S5" (yes they have different names over the years), tarantula wrap on the stirrup, foam in the rail and most importantly swapped the synthetic hollow stock for this Agingcrossbower beau...

Re: Bigredopie Build along
That sounds like a good plan, but it might take me a couple weeks to get some time freed up. There are quite a few folks that frequent the forum within a couple hrs of this area,I would be nice to get everyone together for a weekend and swap stories.

Re: Bigredopie Build along
Well,I am stumped on that one, but I am not alone on this. I have asked everyone I known including family that have been in the area over 100 yrs and no one knows about an airport in portageville. There was an "airport" at Penman which is a bit over a mile from me. Other than that I believ...

Re: Bigredopie Build along
Yes I inherited the optimizer from Steve Rodo who did a great job setting it up for me. I believe we increased the cheek height about 3/8" or so higher than the standard height to help offset the difference for the optimizer. I didn't want to go too high in case it gives up on me and I have to ...

Re: Range Finders
I have been playing with a Leopold rx1200i and it is amazing compared to my bushnell. Much clearer, faster readings and the oled display makes all the difference in the world when it is dark out. I could probably see what I want to range with either unit in the dark but with the bushnell I could nev...

I wonder if that is considered "baiting" in MO?

Re: Vortex
What part of MO are you in? That sounds like a good deal to me. Even if you decide you don't want that "old" bow at that price I am sure you could sell it easily and might even be able to make a few $ to the right buyer. My motto so far has been you can't have too many bows (guns, knives.....
