I just weighed up one of my Firebolt arrows with a Boltcutter head and get a 14 % foc will I have issues with arrow consistency

should I strip off the vanes and install 2 inch rather then shoot the 4 inch vanes the arrows came with

You are correct and your friend is mistaken

I bought a set of mag tiped limbe from Excalibur and was never asked what model bow the limbs were for ie: all are the same
