Re: Has the IBEX been replaced?
Just my .02. I bought the Excalibur Axiom SMF kit for a few reasons. After doing some research and talking to numerous Excalibur owners, it became apparent the company built quality products and had excellent customer service. The price of the Axiom kit (which includes everything you need to hunt ex...

Re: Broadhead vs Target Points
The rhinehart targets are worth every penny. I've probably got over a thousand shots in mine from this year alone (broadheads and field points) and it's holding up fine. Obviously the broadheads do tear it up some, but it still stops them.

Re: Broadhead vs Target Points
I'm not like most people, I don't like tinkering around with things. If the manufacturer suggests a certain broadhead and bolt then I use what they recommend. I am shooting the firebolts with bolt cutter broeadheads and I can tell you that I am placing more than one arrow in the same 2" circle...

Re: Installing dissipator bars?
That's what I was thinking!! After shooting with the d-bars on, you can definitely feel and hear a difference. I'm not saying it's whisper quiet, but it made a difference in vibration and noise.Crossbow225lb wrote:I'm gonna have both

Re: Installing dissipator bars?
Thanks for all the replies guys. When asking the question I didn't have the tool to remove the string, went out and bought one, removed the string and installed the d-bars. Also, I wanted to comment, Excalibur did email me back quite quickly with instructions on how to do it. Great customer service....

Installing dissipator bars?
Just bought an Excalibur Axiom and absolutely love it. I just got the dissipator bars but there are no instructions on how to install it. Does it need to be unstrung before the bars are installed? (my guess would be yes, but would rather be sure). Tried calling Excalibur but got voicemail and no ret...
