It has received royal assent today, but won't actually be legal until Oct. 17, to allow the provinces to get everything in order.

Re: CAMERAS ON CROSSBOWS

I have a hunting version spy-point excel cam. It comes with a few different mounts including a scope mount and a compound bow mount. I first mounted it on the scope, worked ok, I just didn't like how high it was. Than I discovered you can mount the bow mount in one of the holes in the front, with no...

Re: What is your dream hunt?

Since your talking dream hunts, mine would be an African safari with a leopard as the main target species, along with a zebra. I would like to do it with my crossbow as well. After that I think an alligator would be a cool hunt, with my crossbow of course.

Re: action camera

Spy-point X-cell. They are in the TSC flyer this week for $179.99. It comes with a scope mount, bow mount ,hat mount and a weather proof case which I believe is water proof to 60 ft. I bought one last fall and videoed my deer kill with it. I hope this link works, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJ_-...

Re: Trail camera cards ?

Some camera's and trail cams are not compatible with SDHC cards, particularly older ones. You need to use an SD card. The newer camera's and trail cams use SDHC cards. These are two different formats which is why some won't work. You can use an SD card in a SDHC camera and cam but not the other way ...

Re: mount a acyion camera on excal.

I have a Spy Point Xcel cam that I purchased from TSC. It came with a scope mount, bow mount and hat mount. It also came with a remote control. I used it to video my deer hunt this year and am pleased with it so far. It handled the vibration from my exocet 175 pretty good, clear video with very litt...

Deer Season 2014

Deer season has come to an end for me today. I shot a 7 point buck this morning. Rattled him in around 8 am, he gave me an 8 yard broadside shot. I thought I had made a good shot but my heart sunk when I watched him walk , albeit slowly, away. Good thing it's on video. I gave him some time, went hom...

Re: What did you do on Labor Day

Went out and checked my trail cams, got surrounded by turkeys. Trimmed some shooting lanes and made a ground blind. Came home and bbq'd some 1.5 inch strip loin steaks for me and my lovely lady. Now relaxing, wishing I had won the lottery. Back to work tomorrow. :( :( :(
