Scope and Quieting for ExoMax
I purchased a used ExoMax last year and need to add an illuminated scope to it. Thoughts/suggestions? I would like a decent one but don't need the top of the line one sold by Excal. Also, how can I make the bow shoot quieter? I am new to crossbows and am not terribly familiar with all of the parts s...

Frontal Shot?
I was deering hunting last month and had a doe standing 20 yards from me looking straight at me up in my climbing treestand. Is this a shot you would have taken with a crossbow? I would not hesitate with a rifle or shotgun but I didn't know what to do with a crossbow. What would you have done?

Re: Varizone Scopes?
I sighted my Vortex in today from 20 yards out to 50. I chronographed my crossbow at 301 fps with a Goldtip Lazer 2 arrow weighing in at 407 grs. I set my speed dial at 300 fps and set my scope at 20 off the bench and then starting moving back to 50 yards that I measured with a rangefinder. I was h...

I have been trying to post a picture and I keep getting this message: "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." Are you using a 'hosting site' like photobucket? No, I have been trying to upload it from my computer. I reduced the image size to below the allowable file size and ...

Varizone Scopes?
All, I recently purchased an ExoMax second hand and it has a Varizone scope on it. It took a bit of sighting in, but I got the bow to shoot my carbon fiber bolts with Illuminox nocks quite accurately at 20 and 30 yards. However, I haven't been able to stretch it out to 40 and 50 yards due to a lack ...

Age of ExoMax
Hi all! I am new to this forum and new to Excalibur crossbows. I recently purchased a used ExoMax and am trying to determine its age. Is there a way to determine when it was manufactured? So far, I am really impressed with this bow!
