Re: micro arrows
Shot my first doe with the micro last night. 30 yard shot at twilight which all but took off the top of her heart. The 15" arrow worked just fine..... Or shall I say I didn't hear her complain about it.

Re: BOLT BACK PACK & THE MICRO
For those that bought this pack, check the male buckle on the waist strap, as scene below. I went to attach a knife sheath to the strap and the buckle came off in my hands. Appears to be a bad stitch job. No big deal as it's an easy fix but could have cost me a sentimental knife. http://i1057.photob...

Re: micro arrows
Why all the craze of not having the bh stick out? So it doesn't get snagged while stalking? I do about 50% of my hunting on the ground either in a commercial blind or in a brush type blind. A lot of the time I will stand my bow up on the stirrup against the wall of the blind, and grab it as needed,...

Re: BOLT BACK PACK & THE MICRO
I like the pack but cant figure out how to keep the bow from going side to side when its on. Anyone figured it out? Also what is that velcro strap for in the center. To keep it from moving side to side I took the quiver mount off. I only used the quiver while carrying the bow into woods anyways so ...

Re: BOLT BACK PACK & THE MICRO
Woohoo!! Mine just came this afternoon and it seems pretty awesome thus far. Its very comfortable and has just enough storage for what I need versus what I don't need. I cant wait to try it out in the woods and actually be able to have both hands free crossing creeks, climbing steep banks etc. Also,...

Congrats on the Doubles Patriot!! I've been lucky to pull it off myself a few times and it makes for a busy day, however very rewarding as well. Best of luck on finding your wall hanger!

Re: micro arrows
Virginia has no rules regarding arrow length, only minimum broadhead size. I had to reduce mine down to this size in order to fit the long Swhacker ferule inside the stirrup.bob watkins wrote:is a 15 in arrow legal? i know some states have limits on length .just curious

Re: micro arrows
I've only shot one set up this far and it has been this: 15" BEE's 110 brass insert 125 shwacker Ignitor nock I'm right around 410 grains with this set up and will be trying the 92 & 80 grain inserts to see if there are any significant advantages with grouping using either one. I was very p...

Re: BOLT BACK PACK & THE MICRO
Thanks George. I figured that the Bohning website would be the last place that they would be on sale for $50.00, hence I didn't look there. I've got one on the way now!

Re: New Fan of Nu-Fletch Ignitors
My question for those who shoot the Ignitors is this; Boo has done and extensive testing of the Excalibur Quills (.3015 ID) and have found them to fly exceptionally well...Ignitors only come in .300...what would you do? Anthony :) I just pulled the nocks out of the stock micro quills and reinstalle...
