Re: Had the ghost blind out this weekend
I have used one the past few years with a lot of success. They are great for places were you are unable to get a stand up or just want to do a little prospecting before using other methods. I have the shorter version and sit in a low to the ground turkey hunting chair behind it, usually with my back...

Re: Deer decoy
I've had good success with them. Took a real nice buck with one last year. The smaller bucks will come into investigate while the does will tend to stay away. So if your looking to kill does you may not want to use it. I'll be putting mine out starting the last week of Oct into the 1st week of Novem...

Re: Start planning a elk hunt
I'm planning the same trip except for it will be in Wyoming next season. Check out Hunttalk forums and Elk101. They both have a wealth of info on them. Both of them have first timer guides, check lists etc.... You can spend days reading info on boots and pack. You can go cheap or spend few dollars o...

Re: Hunting Backpacks
I'm in the research phase for a pack as well. If you have t done so already check out Hunt talk forums and elk101.com. Both have tremendous amount of info in regards to packs. I think Elk101 even has ratings for some and broken down by price and size. Eberlestock, Horn Hunter, and Mystery Ranch seem...

Re: Help me with a price please
I sold my Axiom last week on Ebay for $455 after a week long auction. It had a Varizone, custom string, and REDS installed along with 4 arrows, and the rope cocker.
I was very happy with the final price!

Building Arrows
I've spent the last few hours here, and a few other sites, doing some research regarding building arrows. I believe that I have the basic info figured out but wanted to run it by you guys to make sure. So if you have a moment...... Start by cleaning inside of the shaft with acetone to remove any res...
