Re: Has the IBEX been replaced?

I much prefer the look of the aluminum rail, and given the option, I would choose it, even at a higher cost, but that just me. I also prefer the traditional stock in this application, for rapid fire and agility, I prefer the pistol grip thumb hole style. Chasing market demands can prove to be tricky...

Re: I'm Not Sure I'm Going to Make It!

Hey, I've got that same target. When I bought it , the guy said, Yep, you can shoot target points or brodheads. DON'T shoot the brodheads! Took an hour to get it out, but works nice with the field tips I'm fortunate, I haven't bought broadheads yet and read somewhere this target wasn't for t...

Re: your deer feeder idea's

A good idea to attract deer and get them to activate your feeder idea, would be to use syrup and salt on the dowel that is exposed. This would also work well with the plate idea, the syrup will give off a good scent to attract them from afar too. I haven't found any info whether deer have a preferen...

Re: Who'se your daddy?

Wow condolences to all of you who have the void from missing parent/s. I'm very lucky to still have my Mom & Dad around. They were a bit young when he had me, but never denied me anything with their reach. Dad and I have had our ups and downs, but he is always there for me when I need him. I can...

Re: What a pain

No need to feel embarrassed about using a cane or wheel chair, I don't think anyone of us have ever thought any different or less of someone because they were being wheeled around. It should give other folks some insight to offer up some help, and while you may let your pride get the better of you, ...

Re: your deer feeder idea's

Well, this is new to me, and all can offer is what I've seen, which are the PVC type feeders with the Y at the bottom. How much of a problem are raccoons, with deer feed? The only way to beat the raccoons is got to be outta reach, I'm sure they'll out smart a deer if the feeder is too complicated. T...

Re: I'm Not Sure I'm Going to Make It!

Looks cold up there. http://www.bogley.com/forum/images/smilies/cold.gif My suggestion is to stock up on various types of alcohol, get some knife sharpeners and stay in the house where it's warm, in the recliner, sharpening all of yours and your neighbors knives. At least until it warms up o...

Re: EX Lube and EX Oil

I'm using Xcal's serving wax, with silicone spray on the rail, and so far, all seems to be fine. I've fired about 50 arrows or so, with minimal wax build up on the rail. I may give these new lubricants a try, at least they wont break the budget if they don't make any change in performance.

I'm Not Sure I'm Going to Make It!

I have an open farmers field behind my house, as well as wooded area, so I went for a walk and found some fawn tracks that appear to be real fresh. It looks like there was a pair of them wondering together, I would have preferred to see them. After my walk, I figured I'd fine tune my shooting. I lea...
