What length arrows are you shooting? I have been considering going to the Black Eagles.

Re: The Matrix is a string eater!

I have been really happy with the string wear on my 380. On the factory string I had several hundred shots and it still looked good when I replaced with a custom Flemish. I really expected the wear to be worse.

Yep. When I first put on a string I will even go a little more than a 1/4" to give it room to settle in. This way I have to adjust it less times.

Re: to those shooting BE's with matrix

Re: to those shooting BE's with matrix

from what I have read so far I am thinking 20" then I can use them in my vortex if needed That is what I am wanting to do next year. I would like to get the 20" for both my Matrix and Vortex. This way I would have the same arrow to use for both and would be handy since with my wife and ki...

Re: Matrix 380 Sighting In

Sometimes the speed ring doesn't correspond exactly to the speed of your arrow as well. It will generally be close, but you may have to adjust it slightly. I set the speed ring for my approximate speed of my bow and then I will sight in at 20 and then will shoot at 30, 40 and 50 to see if it corresp...

Re: Fletching Blazers

I use the Arizona EZ Fletch Bolt. It is so easy to use, that even I can even use it. Currently I am using Bohning Fletchtite glue with good success, but I know a lot of people use the Loctite Super Glue Gel. I recently bought some, but haven't used it yet.

Re: 355 or 380

I have the 355 & it is a sweet bow. I chose the 355 because I am a bit short myself & find it just fit me better than the 380 & is a bit easier to cock. The price was not really a factor because by the time I bought the string stops & cheekpiece the price is basically the same as a ...

Re: On top!

I have the Bohning Top Mount and I have never noticed a difference. Most of the time though I still remove the quiver when in the stand or in the blind. I don't like the quiver being on there as it is just something else to hit off a limb or the blind.

Re: Matrix New Models 2014

I would guess that they would as I would expect them to fly off the shelves as fast as the 355 and 380's have. It would be interesting to see if they will have one on a composite rail like the Axiom is. Imagine how light that would be.

Re: Matrix 355 vs. Matrix 380

Matrix 380 overall length is 35.6inches with a 13.1 inch power stroke Matrix 355 overall length 34.8 inches with a 12.1 inch power stroke. Matrix 355 is a tad lighter probably due to not having the 3 accesories that the 380 has. Limbs are exactly the same. Yes according the website the 355 is 5.4 l...
