Nice shots. I taught in Manitouwadge for seven years in the seventy's and I know the the moose population there quite well. We had to be careful driving down the highway to 17 because of them. I lost two students hitting those beasts. However, I just purchased an Ibex and would like to hunt moose in...

Thanks guys. Just love this forum, people who care about the sport. I'm in 45B and I'm getting my Ibex in May. I'm short so this is my choice. At 67 hoping to start a new thrill in my life and putting away my powder stuff.

quad riding with Excaliber

Can you run the back woods with a crossbow on you quad, drawn, but with no bolt in it. Similar to riding with my shotgut open, with no round? roly

Thanks men, I'm trying to formulate my season for small, deer and moose hunting and this will be my first with crossbows. At 67 I'm looking for new thrills and this scene seems to be my last kick at the cat and will try it all. If I lose a few arrows it is what it is, but I know now it can be done.R...

Question: if I'm using an Excalibur, can I hunt rabbit and partrige by lenghthening the string or something
