Re: New Matrix

Hey Scotty, welcome to the forum & congrats on your new Excal. You shouldn't have any problem tagging a turkey with your Matrix! This year i'm trying a Spitfire Gobbler Getter but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I searched the forum & it seems most guys like the Spitfire. It's 100gr &...

Firedragons top end

Here's some results with an endless loop string of Boo's which i had been waiting on the Prochrono purchase before shooting it. This is shooting with my Axiom. The bolts were all stock Firebolts except the 350gr was cut to 18". If you double click on the results it will expand. http://i1296.pho...

Re: DB bar removal

Hey Taz i do have the S5's on. It surprised me on the 2-3fps gain. A couple weeks ago i was trying to squeeze more outta the ole "Firedragon" & played with diff brace heights & even removed the S5's but made no real gains in speed. So i put them back on for a little more safety fac...

DB bar removal

I recently removed my db bars to reduce the forward weight a bit & found i had also picked up 2-3fps. Between shots 3 & 4 i removed them as the chart shows. Prochrono Digital results: http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/ag3/hoagy3h/dbgone_zpse2e3b6c7.jpg No big deal just interesting i though...

Re: CHRONOGRAPH

The Prochrono digital reads in 1fps increments. At least for the bolts i've shot thru mine.
Also the Prochrono has a much bigger window to shoot thru & still read correctly. I believe they are both very accurate.
Good luck on what you chose & don't shoot it.

Re: buddy doing a small web page for me

Very nice website terry, I'd say your friend done a good job. The only thing i don't like is the red lettering on a red background. Makes it a bit dfficult to read it for this old man. Otherwise i really like it! I purchased a Lite model as soon as i bought my axiom & it has served me very well....
