For $100 your best bet is to look at a pair of porro-prism binoculars. They might weigh a few ozs. more but the quality of the glass is usually as good as roof prisim binoculars that cost 3-4 times more. Also porro-prisms do need phase coating. I don't have a Matrix but I am glad Excalibur made my crossbow (exomax). And my daughter has a Phoenix. Excalibur is the best and has the best service and warranty period.
