Re: good bye my friend.
It’s never easy and my condolences. I also lost my shepherd a few years back to cancer and still think back on all the good times. Hang in there my friend.

Scope Aim Points
Has anyone sighted in their crossbows to shoot 25yrds on the crosshair and then 35/45/55 on the remaining chevrons? If so, is the process the same as standard sight-in? The stands and food plot I hunt fit these settings better than the standard 20/30/40/50. Although I did get a doe last Friday at @3...

Re: Prospective new crossbow hunter.
I hunted in with a crossbow in NY before they discontinued the two year “trial period” this year. I have heard they will eventually allow crossbow hunting again, at some point, to generate more hunting interest as license sales are down. When they did allow the CB they had a 200lb draw limit, which ...

Nockturnals and Rage BH review
Nockturnal flat nock: $24.95 for three. Had I researched here before purchase, I could have saved some time and money, so I thought I would pass along my experence. Right off the bat @ 30yrds I was hitting 4" low on my first shot and the arrow was a little cock-eyed in the target??? I then shot...

It Is the season, cut down two trees last night, still a little snow here and there. The earlier the better as I hate the heat, prefer a a flanel shirt while cuttin.

Vortex speed gain ?
Not that I'm complaining, but I gained 5fps after unstringing in Dec/12 and restringing last Saturday. A little info: New Vortex in 2/12. After serving issues on two Ecal dacron strings I decided to try a Wyvern custom string( not sure what material it is made from). Wyvern string has lasted well an...

Re: great news
Great to see Cabalas expanding in PA. I wish they would open more stores in the North East. Dick's is within driving distance, but after 40yrs of doing business with them; they got my last penny after their publicity stunt of removing all AR style rifles from all stores after Sandy Hook. They chose ...

Re: Kudos for Bill and Dan
Being obnoxious has taken center stage in TV today vs. enthusiasm with self control. I much prefer the confident celebration without all the drama. When the phony acting begins, the channel changes.

Re: Please support this, next time it might be YOU
Years ago 30+, four of us went ice fishing and were in sight on our vehicles all day. Later in the afternoon the fog roled in and after a bit we decided to leave. When we got back we had drifted 1/4 mile north of where we parked and we wern't that far out. Nothing like what this guy went through and...

Re: just a thought
I am approching my first year and have used this so far to prevent a DF. After cocking, Safety on- bolt in Just before shooting I'll recheck the deck and say to my self bolt in- Safety off ...... fire. The other regretable move is not removing the bolt before uncocking. As I have heard from the memb...

Re: New Member - Many Questions!
Hello and welcome. I am a first year Xbow user and after deciding to go with Excalibur my next question was which poundage. There aren't any crossbow shops with-in reasonable driving distance to try one, so I came up with this.... If I can lock my left arm and pull back my 55# vertical bow acoss my ...
