Re: Adjusting for downhill shot

I have the arc 1000 and it is very useful. It was a little overwhelming at first for me to figure out but the really are very easy to use, especially bow hunting.

Re: BH preferences

being very new to bow hunting I have only hit one animal (deer) and used the boltcutter. It did what it was supposed to and I harvested my animal this morning and don't see the need to change.

Re: Adjusting for downhill shot

I was playing with my bushnell arc 1000 range finer yesterday, looking up at a tree it gave me the distance of 23 yrds and gave me the shot yardage as 22yrds.
might be useless info but thats all I have to share......

Re: can't wait

Nice looking deer!!
Our mule deer opens tomorrow morning too here in BC. I have two bucks I have been watching for months now and can't wait to start tracking them with my first x-bow. I'm on dial up and uploading pictures is painfully slow.

good luck!!!

Re: And the spinner winner(s) is.....

Thanks Hank! I think the only draw I ever won was crossing the river first on a homemade raft that didn't float to well.

Two thumbs up to Hankenhunter

My son broke one of my cocking aid handles a while back and I noticed in the trading post Hankenhunter had one to give away. Well I got it in the mail last week and he never asked for a thing for it! It's the few guys like this that I meet that keeps me hopeful there is more decent people out there....
