How Much String Stretch?

Hi, I bought a Matrix 355 last spring. While initially seeing it up, I did have a little trouble sighting my crossbow in because as I was shooting it, the string would stretch, causing my shots to be off. After figuring this out, and adjusting my string (many times), I finally got it zeroed in, and ...

Re: Matrix 355 - What's your arrow setup?

Thanks Bob, that sounds like what I was trying yesterday. I did try the 110 grain inserts in my 18" arrow, but I just couldn't get it...as cspot suggested, maybe I wasn't holding onto the front of my xbow in the lead sled. I'll inspect my setup and try those again.

Re: Matrix 355 - What's your arrow setup?

I'm using 2" blazer vanes with 3° helical. During my first hour or so, I did notice but the screws on the scope mount base has come loose. I did retighten and kept going. Switching to the 115gr. inserts I went from hitting 3" left to about 1.5 inches low and left. I was out there for so lo...

Matrix 355 - What's your arrow setup?

Hi, just wondering if some of you may be able to help me out. I was trying to sight in my Matrix 355 today, and I was having a heck of a time getting my arrows to fly right. I'm using 4 Black Eagle Executioners. 2 cut at 20" and 2 at 18". Each length has a 92gr. and a 115gr. insert, and I'...

Re: Field/broadhead weight Matrix 355

I've been asking the same question for my M355. Seems like a lot of suggestions for the Black Eagle Executioners in 18". I think most are going with 92gr. inserts, but some say 110gr. both for a 100gr. broadhead.

Re: 355 arrow test

Thanks for the info guys. I'm leaning toward the 18" 110gr. right now. That would put my total arrow weight at about 398gr. I'm thinking that should be around 335 fps. Only problem is, the temps here in Michigan are dropping back down to below freezing for the rest of the month, so any shooting...

355 arrow test

Hello, It seems from all the reviews on here that Black Eagle Executioners are the way to go with a Matrix 355. I'm just about ready to order them, but I have a question about broad head accuracy. I see some people go with 18", some with 20" and then some go with the 92gr. insert and some ...

Re: bolt suggestion

What size and weight of Executioners are you shooting?
Curious if people were shooting 18" or 20" and 92 or 110 grain inserts?

Wondering how the fixed blade flight was.

Re: Dunham's Sports Coupon

I hope they do. Most stores had the Ibex, I only found one with the Matrix 355, couldn't find a Matrix 380 in any store.

Re: BH's fer This Season

I used the Slick Trick 100gr magnum last year. I wasn't thrilled with the blood trail. Complete passthrough...blood was pretty thin to start with, then eventually (after about 50yds) started looking good. However, I did recover the deer and still plan on using them. I was wondering if there was an e...

Re: Dunham's Sports Coupon

Used the previous coupon last week to get a Matrix 355 package out the door for about $650. Had to call 3 Dunham's to find one in stock, but they took the coupon without any issues.

Re: Wild turkey

To me it seems like they are a leaner bird with more dark meat then a regular turkey. There doesn't seem to be as much meat in the legs as a farm bird. However, I usually grill my wild turkey breasts, and think they taste better than a farm turkey!
