Loose serving
Does any members on the forum re-serve strings for an Excalibur brother that is having problems? I bought a string from a source that I won't mention because I don't want to get that crap started but from day one the center serving has been loose and separates after cocking the bow every time and I ...

Grim Reaper Broadhead
I am shooting 2012 Equinox with 425gr arrow with Grim Reaper 100gr broadheads and I was told that to keep the grim reapers from opening as it come out of the bow I needed to add a couple dental braces rubber bands which I did and last weekend I shot a doe and I noticed that the broadhead didn't open...

Re: Limb Bolts
I need to clarify myself about saying limb bolts...I'm actually talking about the bolts that goes up through the rail and threads in the bracket that holds the limbs, I guess they would be called the assembly bolts.

Limb Bolts
Guys I've lost one of the two bolts that is used to attach the limbs to the rail and I'm going to have to get another one so is the thread a std SAE thread or is it metric? it looks like a 5/16 - 18 but I want to make sure. Thanks
Forgot to mention it's an 2012 equinox.

Re: 200 lb limbs
Well I don't really want to trade because in my state my bow is fine but I'm wanting to go back to Ohio hunting this season and didn't know when I bought the Equinox about the 200 lb limit. Guess I'll call Danny Miller and check on cost of a Vortex rail.

Thank you...never thought of a shorter rail but I'm not very familiar with the tech part of different Excalibur crossbows.

Re: Separating rail for stock
Well guys I've just had the Equinox 2 weeks and I would love to have the trigger done but still debating the issue. I wish I knew what needed to be done because I work in a machine shop and have been involved in mechanical engineering for the last 30 years, however I do know that in projects like tr...

200 lb limbs
I have a 2012 Equinox and had no idea there was a 200 weight limit in some states and in case I hunt one of those states is it possible to just buy some 200 limbs to fit my crossbow? I love the 225lb bow but I don't want to be out of state and illegal. What to do?

Separating rail for stock
Hello all..I'm a first time poster to the forum and also a new 2012 Equinox owner. Today I put my crossbow together and shot it about 10 times and really enjoyed it but I'm thinking I might try to get the trigger worked on before the hunting season rolls around so I decided to remove the rail and tr...
