not at all! hey! it's an excalibur. the best x-bows made, period!! for safety purposes though, i would always un-cock it at the end of your hunt! very easy to do.

after only one season my serving seperated a little bit, maybe 1/8" ( yes string and serving were kept waxed) string was removed for summer. started shooting, in mid aug., 1 in say, 8 shots were erratic, checked arrows. all ok, marked them, still same problem. then suddenly every other shot was...

need advice, using the S5 sytstem, will not need to use dissipater bar. by removing pads only, bar would still make noise. really do not want to remove any lib bolts :shock: and discover the bolt is to long. should i remove bars? what is the proper and safe way to do this? or should i just leave the...

just re-fletched my arrows and used wraps. after awhile they will get scratched up, no big deal... as far as accuracy, no problems.

wow learn something new every time i read the forum! ok i have the s5 system. i to removed pads for the summer, and just put them back on. now if i want to remove the whole system that means removing the bolt that holds on the limb! not sure if i want to try that?? or should i just remove pads? but ...

fusion vanes are good also... re-fletched all mine with 3" fusions. still stayed witha straight clamp with 2* offset... the blazers (2") can be used with more helical, and still have good arrow flight... sounds good and all, but i think i will stay with the straight fletch in 3"...
