Big Mike Blind
Big Mike Blind I have a new Big Mike Blind and am going to set it up soon. Anyone have experience with this blind? Good or bad? How is the shooting thru the mesh? How do you set your bow in the blind? with a stand or loop or what? I am setting it up in the woods with shade - can it stay up? Will it ...

3 blade BH's
I just happened to notice on my box of Excal arrows - it suggest using the smaller 3 blade BH's for bette accuracy.

What are your favorite fixed broadheads to use with Excalibur and why? I would like to stick with 100gr.

Re: Swhackers
You would still have a 1" cut thru the deer with the blades closed.Either it was a non-fatal hit or maybe the deer went farther than you thought. How long did you go looking for her? I was hunting from a ground blind. The band was on when i shot, but not on when arrow found. Maybe I hit above t...

Re: Swhackers
Yes, I did retrieve the arrow about 15 yds down where she ran. The band was on. The head was closed , seemed like a chunk of hair was in where the blade was. Maybe that stopped it from coming open.

Re: Swhackers
Hit behind right shoulder, broadside shot, recovered arrow about 15 yds from where she was shot. All bloody, but head closed.????? Shot looked good but must have missed both lungs somehow - yet absolutely no blood except on arrow.

Re: Swhackers
Wish I had that good of luck with one. I shot a Doe yesterday morning, my Swhacker didn't open, Arrow covered with blood, but no blood trail at all, lost that deer. I believe if it would have opened, there would have been a blood trail and deer would have been recovered. Just saying what happened. T...

Crossbow cocked
When hunting with a Crossbow, if you hunt all day, day after day, your crossbow is cocked for a long time. Is that OK? or could that weaken the limbs?
