Re: My son the Marine
Your correct on growing to fast. My two sons were marines or should I say they are marines. Once a Marine always a Marine. I have a good friend who is 86 years old and still is a Marine. He can not hunt now because of his age, but he still walks the woods with his Marine belt and emblems. Never give...

Re: Has anyone tried the Plano Manta crossbow case?
I like the idea of the double rifle case. It would be more space reducing that having the large soft case. I have the padded soft case now.

Re: Tips for getting deer to a new feeder? (Pics Now)
I get bulk corn in 55 gallon drums. It is very heavy around 400 pounds. I use a boat winch to raise it up. Works good for me.

Re: Carbon express surge plastic flat nocks
I had a semi dry fire with this one arrow. After inspecting the nock, I saw a flat spot on the nock and thought that may have cause the semi dry fire.

Carbon express surge plastic flat nocks
I want to change my plastic flat nocks to Alum nocks. Does anyone know where I can get some? Easton's metal nocks are too large.

Re: Home Made Deer Feeder Help
I mount a 4" PVC pipe on a 18" square piece of plywood using 90degree angle braces. use a 4" cap on top of pipe, then cut a small hole at the bottom of the pipe so the corn lays on the plywood.
nice setup unless you have hogs in the area.

Re: Year of the Corn
our prices are around $11.00 a bag. I only saving grace is a bulk plant that will start Selling corn by the 50 gallon drums for around $40.00. He owns his corn fields about 1,000 acres. Still I am down to two feeders one at the house and one at the 50 acres where I hunt. Had to cut back. I will lose...

Re: anybody seeing deer?
Been seeing deer in my backyard. Saw a nice six point a couple of days ago. Where I hunt on the Suwannee River has been wet. The river has crested so hopefully my hunting grounds will start drying out within the next two to three weeks. Had about two feet of water over it. Tropical Storm Debbie hit ...

Re: Hiking with a cocked bow
I like Vix's idea of the rubber band. I cock my crossbow when I get to my blind. I am over 70 years old now, been hunting since I was 16. Shot a lot of game, but now I need all the help I can get. use a ground blind and a game cart and sometimes my hunting partner, who is young than me.
