RatherBe Fishing and Saxman,

Here is a link to the crossbow magazines listed on the Excalibur site:

http://excaliburcrossbow.com/demo/listi ... gory_id=68

I believe one of the magazines is quarterly andthe other is monthly. Both have a lot of content on their websites.

GreyWolf,

Looks great. I have spent a lot of time reading about the the dampeners and I think that it is a great addition to the Xbow. Have you had a chance to run an arrow through the chrono, and do the modifications you made affect the excalibur warranty??

Thanks,

Rage_A_Holic You are lucky I ran across this in the hunting.net forum A fellow who goes by GooseHunter Jr. had and "arrow shatter on release." Apparently the arrow was somehow damaged on a previous shot. The arrow was a Beman ICS Camo Hunter 400 which was shot out of a Reflex Highlander ve...

What a tradegy. The current count is 31 dead and rising. Its hard to believe that he did that much damage wit two handguns. When I first heard it I figured an assault weapon was used.

Thanks for the info guys. Last year I lost a doe that I never should have lost with an arrow through the "boiler room" and then into a tree on the other sside of the doe at 12 yards. I never found a drop of blood (other than what wason the arrow) after looking that evening and 1/2 of the n...

Dan O, I can't believe that there are that many tree stands left in the bush. I am making the assumption that you are talking about public land. I can only come to the same conclusion as you. They are trying to reserve "their" spot. In my home state of Massachusetts tree stands cannot be l...

Wabi, The muzzleloader forum on huntingnet.com is pretty active. Here is the link: http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/default.aspx Are you still shooting the Wasp JakHammers? I believe I saw in one of the broadhead forums I saw that you double banded them. Do you put both bands in the bottom notch or o...

Connecticut Sunday Archery Hunting

House Bill 5120 has been introduced in Connecticut to allow archery hunting on Sundays on private land. This is a reincarnation of last years SB605. Last year the bill made it through the Senate and died in the House. I have provided an informational link and a link that can be used to monitor the n...

Ray, Glad to hear that you are back from the hospital. Hopefully the change in meds help. One of the main reasons for my trip to the spine center next week is for a second opinion on a stimulator for me. If I can be of any help or you just feel like talking PM me and I will send you the info. Hang i...

Bowster,

Try it before you buy it. Finally a local shop got in the Vortex and I had a chance to put my hands on it. I am a good sized guy at 6' and I have large hands. I found that reaching the safety for me is very uncomfortable and will be ordering the exocet some time next week.
