I have used 'climbing stands' for most of my bow hunting. But as I age... As a new Excalibur Exomax owner I am a bit confused as to proper weight/broad-head... ft/lb etc... etc.... I never paid much attention to shooting with my old Ben Pearson Spoiler Plus back in the day but now... probably 25 or 30 year later... everyone seems to be so interested in all this tech stuff...

I turned 68 today... so my general license is lifetime now.... tags are of course not free but looking forward to my first year with my Exomax... first crossbow... my son got my Ben Pearson Spoiler plus.... nice old bow... can't wait for opening morning..... gotta get a ground blind... and a comfort...

Virginia hunter

Just bought a new Exomax with the trimmings'... I'm in south central Virginia... any others on here from this general area? Been hunting for many years, mostly long guns but some with a compound vertical but now, since I gave my bow to my son.... I am entering a new phase... crossbow!! :)

A buddy of mine uses an old Carhartt jacket. He unzips the jacket, lays the bow in it with the limbs in the sleeves of the jacket, and then zips it up in the front. Well, I'm an old hunter too.... 68 next week... just bought an Exomax with the trimmin's.... shot it four times.... uh...... wow..... I'm gonna make a few adjustments on the scope and read some advice on here about arrows and broad-heads.... and just ordered some accessories that I figure i needed ....

Yeah Roadrunner... I really think Greentop gave me the wrong price cause it was..... $140 under BPS..... but the sales-guy heard Greentop on the phone and they gave it to me at that price.... I started to get the Equinox but I figured for that much difference... and the only real difference I could ...
