9/7 in NC. Ditto what Riflemanz said and don't leave home without your Thermacell.

My 20" BEEs weigh 485 gr with 150 gr Slick Trick Mags & NuFletch Ignitor nocks. https://i.imgur.com/VB1zmkEl.jpg These arrows are accurate and have the same POI as the 150 gr field points at 25/30 yards. https://i.imgur.com/6PqUTuWl.jpg 150 gr Slick Trick Mag BH. https://i.imgur.com/BEZ3THv...

Equinox at about 25 yards from a picnic table. I never shoot the same bull more than once.

Re: Age/ getting old /cocking a crossbow
Just passed the big 80 & my Equinox is getting a little harder to cock but still doable. Had the widow maker a few years ago which required 4 stents and that has slowed me down somewhat. Hunt from a ladder stand now & call one of my sons or grandsons if I get lucky.

Re: Looking for a Harness
The HSS harness is comfortable with lots of pockets for storing small items. I am north of 80 & fell from a 16' stand because I was too dumb to wear a safety harness. Check out this HSS model. I now stay hooked up anytime my feet are off the ground. https://huntersafetysystem.com/collections/har...

Could you list your arrow length and balance point as I want to compare to my BEEs for FOC%? Thanks

I thought that the Equinox came standard with the S5 string stops.

Re: Questions for any hunter here in NC
Lee county, I have sat 9 times in a tree stand and only seen tree rats. I believe that it has been very warm but BP opens 10/28 and we are due for some cold weather I hope. I do have trail cam pics but most all of them are night time shots. I did get a pic of the largest bobcat that I have ever seen...

I also had to add a notch for the Nikon Bolt scope.

Re: Looking to update my scope
In my opinion the Nikon Bolt Xr is the best CB scope for the money. It is light, short, accurate, rugged and excellent in low light conditions. Great warranty also.

You can also use Imgur as a photo hosting site. Upload your pictures and copy the direct link between the icons and submit.

Re: Sighting In Scope
I have the Nikon Bolt Xr scope which I set for x-hairs POI at 25 yards and I use them for all shots out to 30 yards. I use the 1st circle for shots over 30 yards and don't shoot over 40 yards.

18-1, although that BEE has a field point. Remember to pull the arrow straight out when using a BH.
