Re: Excalibur trigger job
Nothing tricky about doing that. It is actually unsafe. I used to do it myself. You could take it apart, polish it up and try that, or send it to Boo or send it to the factory. Definitely stop preloading it. http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a539/NEPAbowhunter/Photo356_zps4134640e.jpg http://i1282...

Re: Nightforce Ultalight Titanium/Aluminum Rings
I have Warne steel rings with torx screws holding my scope on top of my Excalbur. They would work great on your bulldog.

Re: Rage hypodermics
Never had a problem with a Rage broadhead. I plan on shooting the Hypodermic crossbow head this year. You get big holes going in and big holes going out the other side. Shoot them with confidence.

I would not be able to trust the factory scope again after that. I would upgrade to Zeiss or Leupold.

Re: Hoisting a crossbow up to a treestand
I cock my 355 on the ground first. Wrap pull up rope around stock behind the grip and climb up. Then I get situated with pack, harness etc, then pull up the crossbow with the business end pointing down. Then I take of the kwikee kwiver and put it in the kwikee kwiver bracket. Remove an arrow from th...

I felt the same way when I sold my Vortex and got a Matrix 355. Smaller better handling crossbow plus it is faster. Plan on holding on to it for awhile.

Re: Arrow holder spring tension
I test mine first by eye. I like it about an 1/8 of the rail. I cock the crossbow load an arrow and with the crossbow pointed down give the bow a few good stiff shakes with both arms holding the bow. Then I make sure the arrow has not moved from against the string. If it moves a little bit the reten...
