I bought a super sling2, 25$ Can adjust the length so you can wear it on your back, shoulder, when im walking I just pull it closed tight to the stock.

Riding with a crossbow
Went up into the mountains sheep hunting this week, decided to take my crossbow along, and wore it across my shoulders, rode up to the peak on one mountain (7000 feet) through bush and brush, shale slides etc, had no problem with the crossbow on my back, I was kinda worried I would snag on every tre...

Good thing I searched before I made a new thread, just bought the s5 today, and am not too pleased with the brace height, I had to twist my string 6 times from where it was... and it still touches ,

I just bought the s5 system today and its black, that was the only color they had here. bought a quiver last week and the bracket does say excalibur on the side.

I live 2 hours south of calgary and 1 hour east of the rockies, the weather in montana, wyoming and colorado is the same as it is here, anything from mild winters to extreme cold with high winds. one day it can be 0, the next 70. Sounds like you you need to move to the rockies of alberta/bc! 8 months out of the year might be cold, but you can hunt something 12 months out of the year.Dayelight wrote: I woudl love to be able to hunt Yotes, Moose, Elk, Mulies, Bear, and Mt goats/Bighorn.
