Re: new to bow hunting
I shoot 125gr Swhacker broadheads, the fly just like my field tips, cut a very large hole, the blades can be replaced, and I bought them new on ebay for $25. Congrats on a FINE crossbow.

Re: got thermacell
Now Thermocell has a remote controlled foot warmer. Don't know anything about them but it would be great if they worked as good as their mosquito repellents !

Re: My First Crossbow Deer
Congrats on your first crossbow deer, I just got me a crossbow and some Swhackers am going to try it out this year. I tore up my shoulder so I can't shoot my vertical bow. Now for the serious points-you tell one hell of a story! When you mentioned the leafed out dogwood I could actually see the tree...

Re: Swhacker broadheads... the new Sonoran best I can tell.
I ordered me a set of 125gr Swhackers off of ebay for $25.00 and received them today I had a chance to shoot them 2 times before dark and all I can say is that they fly GREAT! I'm glad I made the choice to get them. Now I just have to test them out on a deer. I put electrical tape on them and it hel...

Re: bipod installation
I have a Caldwell bipod on my Emax and love it. It even has a sling stud on it so I can put a sling on it. The bipods are very nice to have a steady rest.

Re: Test fired a shwacker tonight!
Congrats on the nice buck! Is that the exit hole? Did they leave an easy to follow bloodtrail? One more question, how do they fly compared to you fieldtips? The reason for all the questions is because I ordered me a set and I'm just interested in their performance.

In Tennessee the squirrel season always opens the last Saturday in August and stays open till the end of February.

Re: Vixen connects with its first deer!
Very cool, I hope I can have the success so quick like you did. I just got an Emax about 2 weeks ago and , like you, I cant put it down. Congratulations on the first of many with that fine xbow.

congrats. Did the deer even notice the big lump (your suit)? I've been thinking about getting me one and trying it out. Are they hot to wear?

Re: Just Passin' Thru
congrats on a very nice deer! You told a great story with the pics included. Do the swhacker broadheads fly close to the field tips? I've been thinking about trying them but haven't seen anything about them good or bad.

Re: String serving question
I am fixing to go all over it with a set of allen wrenches and make sure that's not my problem but I do think it the string due to the shape of my serving.
