Never was big on rattling deer but after seeing these tv shows I gave my doe bleating a break. This weekend I had two different bucks out of bow range and once I rattled, tail up and gone. Am I doing something wrong? I know these bucks could of just been scared being rut and all! And advice would be...

This summer I tested a firebolt with and without a luminok. @ 20yrds I found no arrow drop. But 30-50yrds my luminok was beginning to drop off around 1" intervals. My opinion always practice with the arrow your gonna shoot. Never know when the big old buck will show up.

Has anyone tried using Sweetlix or any other type of mineral lick? Tried rolling acres deer corn mix in early spring and not sure if the mixture of molasses made the corn fungi!? Didn't get a camera pic since that in the spot, coincidence maybe. Hunt the last 40 acre section once the feed is picked ...
