Re: Illuminated Firebolt "Issue"
I agree, it's an expensive trade but definitely worth it. I just wish I could reuse something - that whole arrow was brand new, never been shot.
Gonna try again this weekend

Illuminated Firebolt "Issue"
I'm a fan of these now so I thought I'd share pics of the one that took an 8pt. 15 yard quartering away shot - I was surprised when I realized the arrow didn't completely pass through the deer. He ran about 50 yards, laid down and rolled over. The part with the fletch was sticking out at the time. T...

Re: Another newbie hooked
I tried following the "stickie" on how to post a picture (photobucket acct, copy link, etc), but I think instructions seem like they need to be revised.
If someone can tell me exactly what to do, I'll attach the photo (I made sure to get one of me with the deer and my equinox.
Thanks

Turned a firebolt red on a 130lb (dressed) doe 3 weeks back and scored on this 8pt last night (170 lb dressed). Happy I chose crossbow...

Re: Firebolt Illuminated Carbon Arrows
I goofed first time out thinking there wouldn't be a difference. The lumenok adds a little bit to the back of the arrow and as expected changes the flight.
I resighted in using an illuminated arrow and a field point, adjusted a few clicks and dropped a good sized doe the next week.
