Re: stringing rope sleeve

I cut the sleeve off as soon as I pulled it out of the pack due to the advice I had seen on here from others. Bare string has been working perfect for me so far with no wear that I can see.

Re: Arrow retainer and trigger mechanism

Good Morning- I am shooting an Equinox. I am not having any issues with my trigger mechanism. I also tried the Bowjax on the retainer. Didn't like the way it laid on the arrow with the scope mount. Took it off. I did use heat shrink tape on the retainer. Don't know how much it helped, but some amou...

Arrow retainer and trigger mechanism

I know you cant do much to make the bows quieter. I put on the s5 and I dont think it is anywhere near worth the extra weight. But most of the noise to me seems to come from the trigger mechanism on release and the arrow retainer. Anyone have any pointers on making those quieter? I have read several...

Alternative to Jigaloo?

I have read on here about the many that use Jigaloo but I have not been able to find it in any local strores that are listed directly on the Jigaloo site (Home Depot. Advanced Auto, Ace). Plus I am not sure how this works on the SMF rails if Idid find it. What lubrication is everyone using on the SM...

Flemish Dyna string ends unraveling??

Hi all, Just put the 1989 Flemish string on my Ibex. As suggested by several I left it cocked for about 7 hours to help break it in. I then left it uncocked for a couple days before shooting it. I have the s5 installed, and not the string position is about 1/4th of an inch from touching it. I took i...

Re: Scope adjustments maxed out

Ok, so I went out this morning after switching the rings around last night as someone suggested in another forum. First shot was LOW and right which was completely different than yesterday. After a couple adjustments I have arrows touching in the red at 20 yards. And to continue the conversation, fr...

Re: Scope adjustments maxed out

Without seeing the bow it is hard to tell . But here is a few things to check . Maybe you already have . :) : are both scope rings mounted the same way . ie the fastening nut is on the same side on both. : does the front of the scope seem to be pointed down at a angle . When the scope is pointed do...

Yeah, it is attached solid and correctly to the base. No wiggles or anything that I can see.

Scope adjustments maxed out

Just went out with my new Ibex and the first shot went sailing over the bag .. So I took aim again thinking I may have pulled off (a whole bunch) but same result. Went to 10 yards and was shooting 6 inches high there. Made adjustments and went back to 20 yards and still hitting high. Elevation wont ...

To wax or not to wax

I am new to crossbows and recently ordered an Ibex. Along with the order I got the Excalibur rail lube and serving wax. Since then, I have read varying articles on this topic. Some say no wax or lube on anything. Some say lube and no wax. Some say wax on the serving only. Some say wax on the string ...

Ibex brace height marks

Hi all, I just got my new Ibex delivered a little earlier today and was looking for the marks that the string needs to be in between. But with the composite rail, I dont see any. Are they in the new Ibexes? I also got the s5, so I guess I can just use that to adjust by and just leave enough room for...
