Re: Binoculars *****
If you want something compact, why not a monocular? http://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/Bilder/shop/Docter/8x21/8x21a.jpg And a cool review by Mr. Nutn' 8) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jf8pJQwTuOI PS. Seems the Nikon Monarch ATB is a really high quality middle price small binoculars. A cool review...

That's ethanol which you can not drink, because it is not clean enough for drinking. It is only for technical use.mr meat wrote:Ok what is denatured alcohol!

Experimental String Suppression System
Hi guys, Here comes again one more crazy idea from me. For some reason I want to shoot an ultra light arrow from my phoenix, maybe 250- 300 grain (probably 16-18 inch cut down carbon arrow for a vertical bow) to get some really good trajectory. Because the arrow is so light, not enough of the bow en...

Re: Styrofoam target for crossbow!
Mister B, that's a cool idea taken to the next level :D . I have one more target concept, this one is so idiotic it might actually work. The idea is real self healing crossbow target, which is a container (a bucket, a carton, whatever)+ Non-Newtonian fluid in it. It should be something like putting ...

Re: limb protection
I made my own stringing aid. The hooks are from black polyamid 6,6 They are softer than the bow, but enough strong. It works beautiful, unlike my styrofoam target . The factory aluminum rings are a little bit overkill.

Re: Styrofoam target for crossbow!
I have not decided yet, this target STRONGHOLD CROSSBOW I seems to be good enough, it is rated up to 350 fps. http://www.bogensportwelt.de/STRONGHOLD-Schaumscheibe-CROSSBOW-I-bis-225lbs-350fps-60x60x20cm But there is different sizes Target Tech RHINO and Bearpaw HP Strong Block. Which of these targe...

Re: Styrofoam target for crossbow!
Thanks for the advice VixChix. The arrows were pre- lubed with some rail lube (ordered by mistake). Seems that the lube was not enough. Now I'll just order a normal target, like the normal people do  The main thing is that this phoenix shoots so smooth and the trigger is good and I even don't ...

Styrofoam target for crossbow!
I decided to save some money and to make my own crossbow target from thermal isolation plates. It costs me 1/3 of a real target, so why don't give it a shot. Well, because it is a stupid idea. Yesterday I went on a shooting range, placed my pink 2 X 2 X 2 feet styrofoam block and shot a GT 4 from my...

Re: Message from New President
Hello Mr. Dykeman, Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away. (from some French guy) It seems Bill T. has nailed the construction. Just don't make the bow complicated and we will be happy and loyal. Just in case you want some valuable ...

Re: x-bowfishing, how to?
Bow fishing and hunting with crossbow? I have a phoenix since October 2012 and can not find shooting range where I can practice with it. At last I discovered one shooting range, where the insurance covers not only .22lr and bow shooting, but also crossbow shooting. The people there great also. I'll ...
