Safety Reminder folks, flex test your arrows/bolts. (Pic)
This is why you should inspect your arrows before you shoot.

Re: I took my .308 so I cheated but.....
By the look of the rack I am sure that's the one that ran off as I went prone behind the ridge to chamber a bolt!! Cheater!! Haha. JK nice score there, .308 nice deer gun, almost took out my .270 this year but sticking to the Equinox :D Passed on now 6 does and 2 small bucks. The one doe in hindsigh...

Re: equinox specs??
I picked one up earlier this season to replace a competitors product. The shadow zone package is really nice and has the better of the 3 optics offered. If you are interested this is the way to go unless you prefer to buy just the stock crossbow and after market optics. Was more than happy with the ...

Re: Need prayers for a friend tonight
Never good to hear about this. Lost a neighbor this way. Headed out to his tree stand and dropped rifle somehow getting up up there, unfortunate it was pointed the opposite way of your friends crossbow and there was no need for medical assistance. All too familiar with the situation, and my main rul...

Re: swhacker help...asap...please
The shadow zone scope I have lets me adjust for speed and I have tried a number of different bh of varying weights. Get a set of 150 gr. slick trick xbow magnums in lieu of a new scope. You will be back to index weight and they fly same as field pints, in my experience. I have switched to the 175 g...

Re: Need Help Please -----
Looks almost identical to this one of mine, and was a result of one bolt being struck by another one. In my case it cracked the carbon too so be sure to inspect them thoroughly if you plan to re nook and use them again.

Re: 22 vs 20 inch bolts
Only time it would be of advantage IMO is if you were to build a heavier bolt and need to move the FOC back a bit, might be worth using a longer heavier bolt then.

Re: Got My Decal ON!
Should see what an infowars.com sticker does... might as well mount your crossbow in the back window and see how often you get pulled over.Farmer wrote:The one on my truck has started more than a few conversations , even a couple US customs agents took interest !

Re: S5 with Dyna strings
Really glad to hear that you guys think that this won't be an issue. Was talking with Boo, who figured that it may well be within manufacturing tolerance if i get decent grouping at 40. Going to do that later today, and if all goes well will keep walking into the field :P +1 for the second half of y...

Re: First Coyote
We used to get em for ranchers that had waste pits... was the perfect baiting since they were used to it being there year round. Just had to park down wind behind the tree line and sit in the cab. Only challenge was to see how many you can hit as they run off, have since moved to bows and crossbows ...

Re: Fieldtip ?
Does the design/shape of a 11/32" fieldtip make any difference in the flight of an arrow ? If you're asking specifically about flight and not penetration its safe to say that as long as the weight is the same and the tip length is the same (as not to impact FOC) you should see the same results...

Re: S5 with Dyna strings
Looks like the rubber S5 that's touching the string is longer(extended) than the other rubber S5.Maybe the S5 is the problem(too long/defective).Can you compress it or does it still come back to its original length touching the string? It actually does looks the same way if you take the rubber stop...
