fletching kits?

what is the best kit to buy for a guy that knows nothing about fletching or making bolts. Just looking for a winter hobbie for when the hunts are wrapped up. what kind of tips does everyone have. Is there a advantage to doing it your self.

We do have a larger number of BIG bucks running the camp this year . but also have 4 does down. (been waiting to take the big guy down with my new excal...1st hunt with it this weekend)

Went to buy a pack of luminocks to add to my firebolts. The guy at the store told me I had to heat the nock end of the firebolt with a candle to melt out the old nock. The other guy said I had to boil the nock end of the bolt. I didnt try either yet, figured i could get a straight answer from here. ...

Can't wait for this weekend to get out and hunt with my new excal. The wifes getting pretty angry that I keep taking it out every night. (last night we watched a movie together... me and my Axiom, not the wife!!!)

Bought the S5 at Kukigami Jacks just outside Sudbury ON. $41.00 CAD. great price as they were over $60 at another local store.

I'm not really worried about the weight, its more about getting the most noise reduction i can. I am going to keep the orig. string on for this season. thanks for the advice. One other question , If I add the luminock inserts into the firebolts that came with my CB will it have much affect? And also...
