Re: confused micro bolts

I have tried the 125gr field points and the 150's, I feel the 150's are more consistent.

Re: confused micro bolts

I'm shooting the 18" Diablo bolts from my micro, I have shot the 20" firebolts and the 16" quills as well. All shoot accurate. I am going to try the zombie slayers when I can get my hands on some.

Re: Micro Air Brakes

Yes I put the air brakes on my Micro, I noticed very little difference. Its hard to tell but I'm sure its made a slight improvement.

Re: unexpected results

Bobcat My Micro was shooting large groups as well with the bolts and tips it came with( 3" at 20 yards) I tried the 20" bolts with 125gr tips there was a slight improvement. I tried another scope I had and that seemed to work. The only problem is after a few shots the reticle shifted about...

Re: Scope upgrade

So if I narrowed it down to the leupold crossbones or the hawk XB30 what would you choose. I do agree that a shot past 35 yards is max but there are conditions that a longer shot is possible.

Scope upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade the scope on my Micro, is it worth mounting a leupold or a Nikon or some other brand? I would definitely put new steel rings on it. I would like the same features as the Excalibur scope with speed adjustment and the aiming points in the reticle. Just looking for some advice on...

Re: New Micro

Problem Solved!! I mounted another scope on it and the groups tightened up, I even put a few bolts into the same hole. I'm sure Excalibur will come good on the scope.

Thanks for your input, I'm leaning toward a DUFF scope.

Re: New Micro

I believe that your 40 yard groups would equal my 10, I'll get to the bottom of this somehow. I can say this is extremely frustrating.

Re: New Micro

I just finished up shooting a few groups with the same bolt(quill). I'm getting a 3" group at 20 yards. Are these Easton bolts the problem?

Re: New Micro

I'm using a large shooting bag designed for a rifle. Should I try something different like a bipod. I did find that the scope rings weren't tight and I thought that would fix the problem but it didn't. I did check tighten all the fasteners. The string has settled in and is just starting to touch the...
