I maybe alone in this but I found that the string moved alot depending on the temp. This year I'm keeping my bow in the garage to keep it the same temp as outside.

When I was two my grandfather passed away. As I was his only grandchild at the time it was decided that one day I would inheirit his deer rifle, a Savage 99C in .308win. Both my parents are totaly against guns and hunting but because it was my grandfathers gun my uncle got it in under the radar. I h...

I purchased a Vixen Deluxe from Red Label and it was exactly what he said it was. The price was very fair and it was a pleasure to meet and talk hunting with him. He also PM'd me to make sure I was happy with the bow once I got it home. What more could anyone ask for?

To me if Bill T. puts on his web-site that the Vixen is questionable for moose then thats good enough for me. I assume that's what the ? means on the chart. The thing to remember about the Exocet is you can move up to a heavier bolt and increase you KE and still maintain a good speed. As you said it...

Striper- funny thing you should mention a corvette because I have one and I'm selling it because I don't drive it much. I have a two and a half year old daughter and a son being born of Aug. 23. so I don't think I will be driving it much in the future. So I see your point but it was fun while it las...

Why Exomax?

I'm interested to know why you purchased your Exomax. As most of you know I shoot a Vixen so we are at either end of the Excalibur line. Did you choose it because you want more power to hunt moose etc. Or because you wanted to increase your range on deer size game? What limit have you set for the Ex...

Do you use a cocking aid? With the cocking aid I can't notice the difference between the Exocet and the Vixen. I cut my bolts down to 18" and so I guess my Vixen is shooting around 290fps. The only reason I would go with an Exocet is if I thought I may go after moose or bear or something larger...

Bass Proshop and Excalibur?

I noticed Bass Proshop doesn't carry Excalibur products. I emailed them to ask why. Now they have moved into Canada it would be nice to offer Canadian products when able. I remember Walmart was big on that when they moved up here.
