Re: Looking to aquire some deer antlers..
I have the same issue....sort of.....wanting bigger antlers. I am addressing it by resolving to go find a bigger deer, and putting a Firebolt (or some lead) through him.

Re: Assembly Torque
I called customer service and asked them about torque specs last week (yep, another engineer). There are no torque specs, I was told. Which brings me to a question (not intending to thread-jack). I installed the limb on my exocet exactly as in the DVD, with zero space between the limb and the "...

Re: After weeks of research Got me a VORTEX coming
Be very careful when installing the quiver bracket. they have recently changed from a stamped metal piece to a ribbed, molded plastic piece. On my new Exocet, the ribs forced the screws to be just slightly at an angle during installation, and the screws kept wanting to crossthread the soft aluminum ...

Re: excel string
yours (new one) sounds exactly like the string that came on my new exocet 200 ("new" as in delivered on Monday).
I just ordered a spare (#1994), but it has not arrived yet.

Re: EXOCET 200 Assembly and Range Report
A well respected string maker on here says for new guys to shoot the Excel for a year before asking him for a custom string. I agree....... Do what you will, don't believe you are beyond a dry fire, it happens, lol. I was thinking the same thing regarding holding off for a while, and your advice co...

Re: EXOCET 200 Assembly and Range Report
awshucks: Yes I am very happy withthe platform. Very very pleased with the accuracy. Using a bench I was practically able to put bolts through the same holes at 20 and even 30 yards. workmanship and overall quality seem top notch. I was frustrated with the assembly issue which was not really accepta...

EXOCET 200 Assembly and Range Report
OK, well here is my assembly and range report on my new Exocet 200. I have a few suggestions/constructive criticisms; these are not intended not presented negatively, I hope. I am well aware that it is bad form to criticize on a manufacturer's forum, and will completely understand if my post gets ed...

Re: New to Excalibur
Excellent replies; I knew I came to the right place. So my conclusions are: 1) Gonna dump the devastator bolts. Yeah I could add the inserts and change the nocks, but I think I will just get some firebolts and be done. 2) Will get the stringing aid and a spare string. One of the reasons that I dumpe...

Re: New to Excalibur
I may have answered my own question regarding the Devastators; according to the specs, the devastators weigh 7.5 gr per inch, so a 20-inch bolt weighs only 150 grains??? A firebolt weighs 350 grains (??), so it looks like using the devastators would be unwise. I'd appreciate some comments from the e...

New to Excalibur
Greetings. This looks like a great forum. First post. After a less-than-ideal experience with a barnett wildcat, I got smart and ordered an Exocet 200 (Vari-zone Lite Stuff package) and an Excalibur case. Coming today. A few noob questions; I did some quick searching and did not get clear answers to...
