I had a guy at our local sporting goods store give me some of that "crossbows aren't really archery" business. Then he took me out back to show off his new Matthews compound that shoots an arrow nearly 350 fps and makes less sound than I do lacing my boots. I told him that my Vixen shoots ...

I use flexible plastic drain pipe. I bend one end into a j and use fence wire to hold it in place. From there I just suspend the pipe from a rope on the j end and let the other end drag the ground. Corn spills out on the ground in the beginning, then the animals have to kick the end around to dispen...

Thankfully, I have been blessed with the ability to shoot equally well off either shoulder. If it gives me trouble on the right at the range, I can switch to using my left for my primary side. My doc took me off using magnum rifle calibers a few years ago, following a severe neck injury. I even sold...

My doc tells me I am going to need this same type of surgery on my shoulder. I keep putting her off. I should probably not tell her I'm shooting a .45-70 this year. :)

They just started clearcutting the land behind my house, and ran over my 2 ground blinds. They should rebuild easy enough, they were made out of underbrush anyway. I just hope the cutover will green up some before bow season starts and bring the deer back. Next year looks good now though.

The Wagoneer was a great find, as it has no body rust, and since it's my dream car (no laughing!) I had to get it. It has a 360 with selectrac, and the back window still works. I got the rifle before the jeep, but as yet I have not had time to go to the range with it. It is by far the best-looking r...

Been gone for a while

Between getting busy during the summer and cutting back on computer time, it's been a while since I posted. I still drop in every now and then, but rarely have the time to log in. I have been doing some gardening, built a new back deck, storage building, and bought a couple of new toys. http://i163....

As a matter of fact, I just bought my dream car, that's one reason I haven't been on the forum recently. She needs some work. I'll take some pics today and post 'em. She's a 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Not exactly some of y'alls idea of a dream car, I know, but some of us have a taste for wood grain.

Look to see where the law will be placed in your code. In that section there should be a list of definitions for critical terms in that section. Baiting could mean one thing in one section, and be completely different in another.

Pydpiper is right about the cats. :D
