Re: Eastern Sport and Fishing Show getting smaller...
I was going to go this year since it has been a couple years since I last went. I was going to go and test out some Excalibur crossbows but now I'll have to find a local Dealer to go and shot them. Said that the largest Outdoors Show on the East Coast is loosing vendors due to a dumb rule they had t...

What Broadheads Do You Shoot.
I am getting ahead of myself since I do not even have a Crossbow yet but want to know what everyone is shooting as far a Broadheads. I did a similiar post on another site and it ended up turning into a bashing so I do not want to do it here just want to get a feel what works and what does not. In th...

Re: New to Crossbows
I really like the Votex but like you said they are all great bows. Can you shoot lighted nocks with bolts? I shoot them with my bow now I make my own lighted nocks but have not tied to make them for a crossbow. I put Luminocks in my Black Eagle arrows yesterday. I trimmed off a little plastic so I ...

Re: New to Crossbows
Welcome to the family. All of these bows are amazing to shoot. I warn you though, our little trading post can be very addictive. I started with a Vortex as it seemed to be the sweet spot that balanced the need for speed against string/serving life. The package deal had everything i needed to get st...

What does everyone think about the Excalibur Ibex? I know where is one for sale but it has the aluiminum rails so I am not sure if it is what the guy says it is.
Here is the add, not even sure if he still has it.

Re: New to Crossbows
Welcome Bowman, I have hunted out of tree stands with all the Excalibur crossbows (except the Matrix) since 1992. They all perform very well from elevated stands. I suggest watching the trading post area for some used Excaliburs in your price range. I would not hesitate buying a used one here. You ...

Re: New to Crossbows
Thank you for your replies. I have been looking on Craigslist and found a couple on there. 1 is an Axiom for $400 but not sure on composit rail. I think I would like the thumb hole stock.
What is a good price for a crossbow but I guess it all depends on what crossbow it was.
