I am sure they can smell it, but have never had that affect anything. I have had bucks right under my stand with it going and they never looked up.

I have shot recurves and compounds for years and have a few dozen arrows left over from those days. My question is on useing those arrows for crossbows. How do you determine spine? what is too small a diameter? WHERE do you get nocks for standard arrows? Also does anyone use real feathers(I have tho...

So where do you get nocks for older regular( not bolts) arrows? I have a bunch of older Gold Tips I would like to cut down and use. 7595s and some 340 Beemans

Of course I meant crossbows,have Martin and Mathews compounds too Went back to recurve when I was mentoring 50 times a year then too longbows.

I got my Axiom because it was a recurve, and the Vortex because the Axiom was so good. They are the cream,the pinnacle.
Quite,smooth ,simple,reliable, so why would ANYONE want a compound?
