Silver Bear,
You will lose arrowsnif you shoot into just a hay bale. My brother shot into mine and 1 arrow gone. I have conveyor belt behind my bales and so they dont pass thru.

Re: fletching nocks
I bought one to try, but have not used it yet. It is made of rubber, slides onto the nock snugly and seems that it should work well.

Re: Oklahoma hog hunt
This sounds like the hunt we went on in Gonzales Texas. Mostly piglets and on occasion they brought in some 350-400 pounders. The fenced in exotic ranches don't seem to be a good place to go. The pigs are trucked in and the exotics come in and compete with the pigs that are there or spook them when ...

Re: ex-pack and bohning bolt the same?
Don't know if they are the same, but my girlfriend bought the Bolt and really likes it. Would have been better if there were some straps on the bottom to strap on extra clothes once it warms up, but it was an easy fix.

Re: Intresting POI shift
I took a plastic milk carton and cut a gasket for under the stirrup, seems to quieten it down some and doesn't compress when you torque it down. Also wrapped the stirrup on the PHX/VIXEN w/para chord and the Exocet with hockey tape, which also helped some. Of course the three Texas hogs we took coul...

Re: Cabelas 20" Stalker XBolt Arrows
My girlfriend uses them in her converted Vixon and she had her first kill, a Texas hog. They seem to do well out of my Exocet also. I also like the BEE's.

Re: Nikon Bolt XR Reviews
Bullzeye,
I put one on my exocet about a month ago and i am really happy with it. Just got back from a Texas hog hunt and it worked out great. i installed it using the rings that came with the bow, but i had to file an extra groove in the scope mount to get it where I wanted it.
