Re: It's on its way
Do you live in Pikeville? Where do you go to school? I have been the Pikeville many times. I was born and raised in McMinnville. In east TN now. We should get together and hunt. It would be like father and daughter.Calcobrena wrote:Shame you aren't over here in SE TN! We could hunt together!

It's on its way
Just got an email saying my 355 shipped today and UPS would deliver on Friday. Since sping turkey season doesn't close until May 12, I will have a good 2 weeks to bag one or two or three or four. That should give me time to get the bow sighted in and make sure that I hit what I aim at. We have a lim...

I'd sell the Stones tickets. Never did like them. Wouldn't have given a dime to see them when they were in their prime (40 years ago) let alone now that they are all on life support.xcaliber wrote:Forgot one, sell Stones tickets, but the lawyer would probably cost more than the Matrix.![]()

Re: Matrix 355
Thanks, Shooter. I have always shot long bows, recurve bows, and compound vertical bows but never owned a crossbow. I may not recognize that I even need to change anything because I am not that familiar with what I should expect. Just something about the excalibur has always made me want one and the...

I am really liking that Blackout. Wonder if I could paint my 355 black. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: How do you gain FPS
I would think the 380 and the 355 have enough energy, speed and killing power to kill just about anything short of a Tyrannosaurus Rex and they may not do that bad of a job on them. I guess it would just depend on shot placement. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: Matrix 355
What is wrong with the diablo bolts that came with you matrix? What about the tack zone scope do you not like? What has you so upset over the setup it comes with? Just wondering because I have one on the way and I have been really looking forward to getting it. Until you, I have heard nothing but go...

Re: Matrix 355 vs. Matrix 380
I'm thinking I may have messed up getting the 355 instead of the 380.

Re: Wooden Arrows
Ami, try it if you like but if you understand anything about physics you will know that when the arrow comes under stress from the string, it is going to bend in arcs regardless of the material it is made of. Carbon and aluminum can handle the harmonics and stress without breaking but wood simply wi...

Re: Wooden Arrows
Like she said but remember if you can't then you are in for a world of pain and maybe worse. I work with wood all the time and I know there is no such thing as a guarantee that any piece of wood will not have a flaw or weekness and the bad thing about wood is that it may be great today but because o...
