I have been using my original string on my marrix 380 for 10 years now, wax it twice a season, killed 2 deer every year and I don't see a good reason to change it. I do have a spare on hand just in case

I was thinking of installing fur silencers right where the string contacts the R.E.D.S. not only dampen vibration but muffle the contact sound

I think the more you improve the odds of taking down the prey as quickly as possible the better. I am interested in the results of a this broadhead as I am too old to go chasing deer around and want them to drop ASAP.
