I gave up on Judo points the wires get messed up after a few shots and they are not cheap to replace.

Has any one tried the washer trick with a carbon arrow? I know it works good with a aluminum arrow. I just do not want to mess up a carbon arrow if it puts too much force on the front of the arrow. Not at 8 dollars a pop. I am using carbons with capture nocks.

The washer trick works. :wink: I have used a arrow set up like that several times. Works good with aluminum arrows I never tried it with a carbon one.

Moedaddy they shoot just like the target tips. No difference.

Good luck Hope you get something I am going out tomorrow I season opener is tomorrow. Took them out of the package and put them on my Parker Hunter arrows and they seem well made. They spin well.

So leaving a Excal recurve strung is ok? I always thought Bill said to un-string them when your not using them. ?????????

I do not agree with Excals idea of using Wax on the serving or rail as they used to claim. The old wax was sticky and to my mind slows things down. I have always used rail lube and now that I bought my Parker xbow I bought their lube and wax. The wax is more fluid not as sticky and works right into ...

Package said they are spin tested and since they are made by a well known arrow company I bought them over the Allen broad heads since every one here and other places had a dim view of them. Flat plastic is not worth a damn if the string goes over or under it. I would stick with aluminum.
