Re: String life and replacement?
I had my string and cables replaced today on my old 6point Pro Slider. String was $21.99 and cables were$41.99 plus $15.00 for labor. Ten Point recommends change every 3 years. Mine lasted longer even with a lot of shooting.

Re: could plastic knocks cause misfire
Let me add another observation: Has anybody noticed the vanes on Easton 2219 Magnums touching the ADF? (the mount itself) to the point that they have a slight curl to them? could this be a potential cause for misfire if there is enough downward pressure? Even if it is slight?

Re: 355 trouble
I did check the arrow retainer and that is ok. Tension is correct and holds the arrow correctly. To be sure I also listen for the 2 clicks when cocking the bow. My experience has been that when the bow is improperly cocked and not engaging the trigger, the bow cannot be fired until you recock the bo...

Re: 355 trouble
Here's the latest: Dawn is sending me new limbs. That is great customer service. Also after removing the limbs, Idiscovered the other limb was cracked in the same spot as the other. Also 1 limb is splintered on the underside along side the bolt hole. I thought that's what the ADF is for, to prevent ...

Re: 355 trouble
Yeah, that's the sensible thing to do. I'm just hot right now and need to calm down before I do anything in haste. Just p's me off. Last one was my fault, I don't think this one was. Funny thing too was I looked at the limbs before I put them on and 1 under the tip had what looked like an air hole? ...

355 trouble
Just got my new limbs on, after I dry fired. I also bought the anti dryfire and installed that also. 1st shot low but on center. 2nd shot way left . 3rd shot the same. 4th shot went 4 feet in front of me and sounded real funny. checked the limbs and found a crack under the tip! String was stopped by...

Re: Anti Dryfire
Yep. understand the gold part. $30 for new limbs may have made up my mind. I shoot a 10 point Pro Slider also. I'm pretty used to it having an anti dryfire. Maybe thats part of my problem establishing a new routine with the 355. Old dog new trick thing :D That being said, I like both bows. The 355 i...

Re: Crossbow target suggestions
Spider Web has worked well for me. I shot some Grim Reaper practice heads and they will pull out a little bit of the stuffing. Also, they will wreck the front mesh. Call them and you can buy replacement mesh for a small sum. Using regular field tips are fine. Very easy to remove arrows. When I spoke...

Re: Matrix 355 scope mount screws
Thanks for all the replies. I'll try the Loc Tite and the screws sent by the factory for now. But thanks for the generous offer. Also not Soviet. Worse, KGDPD Detroit Secret Police. The Ruski's would have learned something from us.
