OT - Rafting the Peruvian Andes
My wife and I along with some friends from Texas, California and the UK are recently returned from a rafting/kayaking trip in the Andes. We spent 6 days rafting the Cotahuasi River in Peru. This river is at the bottom of what is considered by many to be the deepest canyon in the world. The Canyon is...

From inside a blind they can work very well if the blind windows are low enough. The windows on some blinds are too high to use the DS effectively. Some of the sma...

Re: Attaching Stock on Matrix
So I figured out the easy (temporary) fix was to take a relayer stock off of one of my other bows and put it on the 405. The relayer fits and uses a different hole. This is temporary. As stated by SC, screw for the Matrix is a 10/32 by 2 inch long on the front. So to tap up I would have to go to a 1...

Attaching Stock on Matrix
So I swapped the trigger on my Matrix for a Trigger Tech and had no problems getting everything apart installing the new the new trigger. When I was re-attaching the stock I over tightened the the front screw and the hole stripped. I was thinking that I will use a tap to upsize the screw diameter an...

Re: Stripped Screws
You can drill it and use easy out just take your time you will succeed Thanks for all the tips. Ultimately I succeeded by drilling a pilot hole and using an extractor: http://i1363.photobucket.com/albums/r719/Joe_Miedema/P1300899_zpsc84fc3e4.jpg I am sure the other methods would have worked as well...

Still have lots of snow
So I went up to our camp today today to try and bring my RTV home. It has been buried in the snow since December. Well no luck on that front - still too much snow. http://i1363.photobucket.com/albums/r719/Joe_Miedema/Photo768_zpsf1a149ca.jpg This stake normally has 30 inches showing. 2 weeks ago it ...

Re: matrix 405 trigger problem
It is an aftermarket trigger that increases accuracy and reduces string serving wear. Involves removing and replacing the factory trigger.Osella wrote:Excuse me for my ignorance. I am here because I want to buy my first crossbow (matrix 405) but What is trigger tech???
