Re: Who has the Best price on the Matrix 380?

At $879, that's a $50 saving off the $929 reg. price. However with HST it would come to $993.27. A month ago a sporting goods store had a NO TAX sale, so the out the door price was $929 for a saving of $64.27. Doesn't tax suck. Mine was 963 total CB is correct my all in was $993.27 CDN = $89...

Re: Who has the Best price on the Matrix 380?

Ask not who has the best price, but rather the best after sale service. Besides, from what I am seeing, since they are flying off the shelves, it appears all dealers have the same prices for the Matrix models. Perhaps with time, if sales decline that will change. I paid $879 Canadian for my Bare Bo...

Re: Parallax setting for rifle scope?

Two things: 1. If you can keep your eye centered on the optical axis of the scope than parallax is irrelevant no matter what distance you are shooting. 2. At the distances crossbows are shot the parallax effect is essentially negligible even if your eye is not lined up properly. If it was me I would...

Re: A few pics from my camp

Thanks for all the great replies. For those interested this is what the blind platform looks like in deer season: http://i1363.photobucket.com/albums/r719/Joe_Miedema/6441_zpsd0860864.jpg We brush it in with 12-16 foot cedars that we cut out of the surrounding bush. Cedars get tied to the structure ...

A few pics from my camp

So I was outside today on a job site and at 11:30 am I said enough of this. So I quit early and headed out in the sunshine. I stopped at home grabbed my snowshoes and my 17hmr. It was calm, sunny and the temp was right around the freezing mark - just a stunner of an afternoon. I headed up to our cam...

Re: Private Message Question

I have a private message in my Outbox that I want to send. Every time I open it and click submit it just stays in my outbox and does not move over to the sent folder. Does it just magically get sent at some point or will it stay where it is and I am missing some step in the sending procedure? Thank...

I think it would be like switching to writing with my left hand - unnatural. I would likely get a thumb in the string travel path because it is so different.
