Here's why: - Matrix 380 Power Stroke: 13.1 inches - Matrix 355 Power Stroke: 12.2 inches - Minimum legally required power stroke for big game in Ontario: 11.8 inches Not much play there. Unless they use different limb...

Re: mobile stand vs stationary

At 73 yrs young (tomorrow), and having had 3 stand mishaps to my been-rode hard-put- away- wet too many times credit, I only trust permanent stands or quality ladder stands (with sides and shooting rail, safety vest and safety rope) these days. But the most portable 'stand' is my ghillie suit. Hard...

2013 Deer - Warning - Long and pic heavy

Intro The following is a chronological summary of my 2013 deer season to date. So far it's been a great season with lots of time in the bush and a moderate amount of success. If anything changes I may update the post one more time before the end of the year. Also for all you purists I apologize in ...

Kayla Bow Scores

Went out tonight for a walk and stalk hunt in a hardwood bush. Suited up with my hardwood ghille suit and started to scout for fresh sign. Found some fresh scrapes so I parked my butt on the ground about 35 yards downwind. At 5:15pm I thought I heard something off to my left so I was concentrating m...
