I'm wrestling with the size advantage, also. I like the notion of increased maneuverability and handling, etc but my Vortex is a great bow and hard to beat. In the end I reckon my decision will boil down to "want vs need" and that means any logic goes out the window!!!

Wabi, other than a smaller package, are you seeing any advantages to the 1 - 4 x 20 over the 2 - 7 x 33?

You might also check your stock screws. My Vortex started misbehaving suddenly and I found the forend screw had worked loose. Good luck.

Any guidelines as to when a nick or ding rounds the edge enough to create a potentially hazardous situation with plastic nocks? I'm new to this game and have only shot stock FireBolts. I have a few Lumenoks for hunting and would like to know what to watch for. Thanks.
