Re: Matrix broadheads
I have been shooting the Killzones from NAP, found that the 125's shoot a better group out to 50 yds than the 100's did. I am using the practice blades in them and don't think it will be any different with the real blades. I will know by Sunday, big boar hogs are raiding my protein feeders and the t...

Re: Changing limbs on Vortex
Thanks for the responses. Only thing I plan on changing is the string when it needs it. Been tinkering with Broadheads and have found that the 125 NAP Killzones are more accurate than the 100's. I am shooting the Carbon Express Red Hott bolts. Using the practice blades and they shoot great. I have s...

Re: fletching jig
I bought the Bohning tower jig last year and love it. Same concept as the EZ jig. My antique Bitzenberger is still in service but the EZ and the Bohning are far better for persons new to fletching.

Re: Arrow Wraps
I wrap and fletch my bolts and arrows for friends. I find that I am getting a much better bond with the glue when using the wraps. Acetone the shaft to get it clean and let dry, then roll on the wrap. Eliminates sanding and the mess it makes. To each his own. I like them on mine. Not necessary though.

Re: NAP Killzone rear deployment broadheads
Well, I have shot both the 100 and 125 grain Killzones out to 50 yards with the practice blades. Both of them are on the money. I wonder if me fletching my bolts with a radical left helical helps stabilize the broad heads better. I know it does on a compound. I won't shoot deer past 35-40 and most u...

Changing limbs on Vortex
Is is practical and or safe to change from the stock 200 pound limbs to heavier poundage limbs. I am new to crossbows so I am probably gonna ask you veterans a lot of questions. Thanks for your advice and patience.

Re: NAP Killzone rear deployment broadheads
Thanks folks, well, I have three of the 100 grain and six of the 125 grain. I will be going back to the 85 grain Spitfires. Shot a pile of deer and hogs with them out of my compounds. Penetrated extremely well.

Re: Help Recommendations needed for a Mechanical Broadhead
Last season was my first ever to hunt with a crossbow. I used the NAP FOC broad head, I shot a big doe opening weekend, horrific hole and short, very short tracking. Like 30 yards. I know we lose a lot on velocity by going with that 170gr head but good gosh what a hole it made. I have bow hunted for...

Re: Vortex Rocks!!!!
Do either of you have the cheekpiece on your Vortex. I recently added one and it is much better fitting than without.

NAP Killzone rear deployment broadheads
The don't recommend shooting the compound version out of a crossbow, however, the specs on this broad head are for compounds up to 350fps. My Vortex is shooting 320fps with a 100gr field point. I can't imagine the blades deploying at sub 350fps whether out of a crossbow or a compound. Can someone gi...
